Living with food sensitivities myself, I know the struggle of finding tasty treats that won't leave you feeling yucky. That's why I'm here to spread the joy of baking and show you that you can indulge without compromise. This Chocolate Cake is not only gluten-free and dairy-free but also completely nut-free, making it a delightful treat for everyone.
Let's dive into the goodness, shall we? Here's what you'll need:
Ingredients:
⅔ cups white rice flour
½ tsp salt
⅓ cup cocoa powder
7 eggs (whites and yolks separated)
¾ cup golden cane sugar
Instructions:
Preheat & Prep: Begin by preheating your oven to a toasty 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Prep your baking pan by greasing it with a touch of coconut oil, lining it with parchment paper, or dusting it with white rice flour – whatever floats your baking boat!
Eggstatic Yolks: In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together your egg yolks, ½ cup of golden cane sugar, and a pinch of salt. With your trusty electric hand mixer, whip this delightful trio until it becomes fluffy and pale. Now, add in the white rice flour and cocoa powder, whipping until everything becomes one big, happy family.
Frothy Peaks Ahead: Over in the bowl of your electric stand mixer, introduce the egg whites and let them frolic until they reach a frothy state.
